The Nanny or Babysitter has the following experience:
I started babysitting at age 11. I have had the joy of belonging to a large family with many babysitting opportunities. I have 4 younger sisters, many cousins and family friends I have watched over. I have taken care of a premature newborn, twins, children with food allergies and sicknesses. I have worked as an intern for Denver CASAs child advocates and volunteered many hours for Ronald McDonald House of the Children's Hospital in Aurora. I have also helped with many youth sports camps.

Describe your childcare style:
I am a very energetic and supportive of the children I care for. I make sure all responsibilities are taken care of before play time. I love teaching children to have an active, healthy lifestyle with lots of love and laughter. I also think of creative ways for each child to contribute to each activity. Caring for children is more than just a job for me, I am very passionate and enjoy their company, which makes me excited to show up for them every day.

What activities do you like to do with children:
Arts and crafts, outdoor activities, board games, homework, baking, attending games and performances, visiting museums, zoos and aquariums.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter?
I enjoy the company of children and working with them always feels like more of a treat than a job. I believe that every family should have a nanny that they can trust to support their children. I enjoy watching the children I care for grow and learn as time passes. I also enjoy encouraging children and helping them overcome adversity on a daily basis.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?
I am a big believer in energy and the effect it has on children. It is very important for a nanny to stay positive at all times when taking care of children. It is also important that a nanny remain patient and confident through adversity. I believe in very basic and fair ground rules. A Nanny must also have respect for the child including their ideas and feelings.
