Experience: I began teaching dance lessons to young children when I was an early teenager and absolutely loved being around children! I got into babysitting through that job until I went to college to be an Elementary Teacher! With that experience I was able to tutor students in grade school with struggling reading/writing/math scores. I am now a pre-kindergarten teacher and I work with 3 and 4 year old kiddos every day!

Interests and hobbies:I love to stay healthy! Exercise and nutrition are a big part of my life. I love to cook I do everyday! I have also danced for about 17 years of my life! I try to get into the studio anytime I can. I also love to sing, however I used to be much better at it!:) Animals will always be a passion of mine as well.

Describe your childcare style:I am very energetic! I love to play and keep busy, I am not a fan of screen time. I am firm but loving!

What activities do you like to do with children:Activities can vary depending on age but i love working on motor skills and staying moving! If we are not being active, I like to do things that work the child's fine motor skills. Things like art projects, cutting and pasting, making mixtures, practicing letters/numbers, and I love read aloud books!

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I would like to work more one on one with children with additional evening and weekend hours I have open. I plan on starting my Masters degree next December to study child psychology!

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Safety is the most important thing to me. It is important to know details about the child and their health so when they are in my care I can feel confident. High energy and conscious discipline are important as well as having FUN!
