Experience: Over the past years I have cared for and spent time with numerous children through nannying and babysitting. I first began caring for a 6 year old boy through family friends and realized it was something I was really good at and enjoyed. I have worked with over 10 families. I have experience with every age from infant to teen. I have worked as both a full-time nanny and evening babysitter for a few different families in the local area. I have cared for children with disabilities as well as children who are sick. I have also babysat up to 4 children at one time. I have lifeguard as well as swim instructing experience. I have driven many children safely to activities and accompanied them in every day fun such as swimming and biking! Experience with the following age groups: Infants through school age. Interests and hobbies:I love being active, I played every sport growing up and became the captain of my soccer team in high school. I enjoy working out, hiking and jogging. Depending on age level, I think it is very important for children to be active in this day and age with technology so prevalent. I think each family is different in their preferences and it is important for a nanny to be flexible and understanding for the family they are caring for. Safety is my number one priority, I believe it is most crucial to be vigilant and aware of the children's safety in all situations. What activities do you like to do with children:Depending on weather conditions and age, I love to go swimming with children, play games and play actively outside. I enjoy playing any and all sports with children. If I am caring for an infant, I enjoy reading books and aid in progressing their motor skills and development.
