We are a family of four, living in North Boulder. My husband and I own our own company. I work in the home, while my husband works out of the home. We have 2 adorable boys, twos son age 9 and age 2.
We are a low media regarding TV, movies or video games home, we prefer imagination play! We live in a neighborhood with two big parks, wonderful neighbors with kids our childrens ages and lots of trails near by. This part time job will be three days a week, hopefully starting on September 1st.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for someone to nanny with us 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, starting on September 1st, 2014. Starting at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Must absolutely love kids! Also, must have experience with toddlers. I have 2 sons, but my older son who is 9 will be in school full time, so this position is primarily taking care of my 2 year old son. The older son will be home after school, but will have different after school activities to go to.
I work from home, so I will also be around most days. I do have meetings often that take me outside of the house, but I primarily will be here in the home. My husband works outside of the house and for extremely long hours, so he will not be interacting as much during the specified work times.

Mostly for my 2 year old son.
Andrew will be in school full-time...but there will be some after school help with Andrew occasionally.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping (we have a twice monthly deep house cleaning service, so again, this is just light daily maintenance housework, dishes, etc. We ask that you handle some school or activity pickups and drop offs as needed, responsibilities would include some light meal preparation for the kids. A car is not provided - please have your own! We will need some laundry help now and again, and we might ask you to run errands occasionally while the 2 year old is napping, including groceries, dry cleaning, mail, etc;
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Preference given to those who love reading to kids, fun park and creative outside play is important! A knowledge of Waldorf education is a plus, an interest in music and drama is a plus, and arts and crafts lovers are strongly encouraged to apply!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR, First Aid Certified, and a clean driving record.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Approx 25 hours a week. Three 8 hour days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
With advance notice...and calendar permitting...some nights and weekends as well.

$13 to $18 an hour depending on experience

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is fun, easy going, reliable, punctual, and willing to adapt to any parenting and earning style. Also someone who is caring, patient and has experience with toddlers. A flexible schedule would be appreciated as well. Someone who loves children and loves to laugh!
