We are a family of three. Dad travels for work. Mom runs a business and our 15 month old son is busy learning and growing. We are a busy family with lots of moving parts. We love to spend time outdoors, listening to music and general loving, cuddling and having fun.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for someone who has expertise in our sons age group. We would like someone who can contribute to our sons development with their own insights and knowledge and not just merely take directions from us. We want someone to build an authentic relationship with our son. We would like a nanny who is very patient, compassionate and sensitive to our son's needs. A person who is able to adapt to our home and be a non judging grounding force to help eliminate chaos is essential. We want help with light housekeeping such as cleaning up after meals, cleaning up our son's toys and helping with laundry. Most of all we want someone who can fill our son's afternoons with laughter and joy!
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our son is 15 months old. He is silly. Loves to dance and play. He has tons of energy and loves to explore everything. He loves art, creating it and looking at it. He loves to read books. He is a great eater and requires loving support to nap.
Describe your home setting: We live in a relatively modest, older home in Palo Park (North East Boulder). We have two cats. We moved into our home 6 months ago and there is always a renovation project underway! We have two great parks close by. Our house is on open space and backs onto the creek, which is so fun to play in on hot days. It is about a 15 min walk to amenities.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant/Child CPR is a must. First aid is a plus.

15 to 20 hours, M, W F from 1 to 6 pm required, plus up to an additional 5 hours.
