My husband is a professor at CU, and I am preparing to go back to work part-time after temporarily hitting the pause button on my career to raise our boys 3-year-old and 7-month-old. We love the outdoors, including hiking, camping, and skiing, and both parents have done a great deal of adventure traveling around the world. Both parents are originally from the east coast and value our children\\\'s happiness above academic success or other metrics. We always try to go out of our way to make sure that our nanny and babysitters enjoy their job and feel valued!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are seeking a nanny to work 2 days weekly for one year, beginning in late June or early July (there's flexibility around start date). The days would be a Monday and a Wednesday or a Tuesday and a Thursday. We currently have a nanny who is extending her contract through 2019, though she will be working only 3 days a week, not Mon-Friday as she did in 2018. The nanny will earn $25/hour plus a potential performance-based bonus.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our active and fun 3-year-old son, attends preschool in the mornings, Monday - Friday during the school year, and often naps in the afternoons. He loves sports, reading, arts & crafts, building blocks, and outdoor activities. Our 7-month-old baby, is very sweet. He sits up and is learning how to crawl. Loves to engage!
Describe your home setting: We live in a modern 4-bedroom house in the Chautauqua neighborhood, within walking distance to the Chautauqua trails, three playgrounds, the Boulder downtown library, and Pearl Street.

When not watching our children, we would want our nanny to prepare meals for the children, tidy up after the children, and assist with the children's laundry.

We'd love for our children to spend as much time outdoors as possible! Reading, arts, and crafts, nature playdates, and playground time are all appreciated.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR, Infant and Preschool age experience
