My husband and I recently became a family of three with the birth of our daughter. We are an active family and love spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, biking, etc. but also value quiet time, reading, cooking, and music. We are excited to welcome a nanny into our home as a valued member of our family and our daughter's life!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
My husband works full time and I will be returning to work after 12 weeks of maternity leave, potentially with a modified schedule (PT or WFH) in the beginning. We look forward to finding a nanny experienced with infants to provide loving care for our little girl.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
She is a happy, easygoing, sweet baby girl born December 2017. So far she seems to take well to daytime napping and enjoys cuddling and play.
Describe your home setting: We live in a single family home in North Boulder within walking distance of 3+ parks/playgrounds and open space trails. There is a designated nursery as well as a basement rec room area.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The primary focus is caring for our little one, but we would like the nanny to also do light housework as time permits (e.g. baby laundry, dishes, tidying up, light meal prep, small errands). Once she is on solids, we'd love the nanny to help prepare baby food.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of infant development (social, motor, language, etc.) and provide fun and enriching activities to help her learn and grow including reading, singing, etc. We would like our nanny to be attentive, affectionate, playful, as well as help reinforce age appropriate routines and schedules. Lastly, are seeking an active nanny who will take our little one outdoors often for walks and play, as well as on occasional excursions about town.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant First Aid and CPR, up to date on vaccinations. Early childhood education or certifications are a bonus.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We will need the nanny full time (45 hours per week) Mon. through Fri., approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$18-$22/hr (commensurate with experience) plus benefits; vacation and holidays, etc. to be negotiated.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Energy, enthusiasm, and an innate love of babies. Great communication skills and a willingness to work through things with us, the parents, openly and directly if we encounter challenges.
