Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We need help with childcare during the summer, including reliable transportation to any planned daytime activities for our children. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, interactive and interested in planning projects and activities with our daughters. We need someone who is creative and interested in developing a schedule of activities with the girls. We will have a membership to the local Rec center outdoor swim area, a nearby library, and we are open to supporting other activities that are age appropriate to keep the children active and engaged. We would also appreciate someone who can help with some household duties and errands occasionally, both to fill full-time position/hours and help our family stay as organized as possible!
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have 2 daughters, ages 11 and 8 years old. The 11 year old will be away at camp for the first few weeks, so our 8 year old will be the only child for the start of the summer. Both girls will be home for the second half of the summer.
Describe your home setting: We have a home in Broomfield, CO with a big yard and friendly neighbors with lots of children nearby.

Transportation to and from camp for the children, light housekeeping, meal preparation for children, help with some family dinner preparation, grocery shopping, other errands/needs that may arise to fill hours.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading, going to the park, bike riding, recreational center (swimming at the Bay), creative art & craft activities. Fun, educational age appropriate developmental activities!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid certification, up-to-date vaccinations including COVID vaccinations, valid driver's license and safe/reliable vehicle, reliable swim skills, and any early childhood/education experience a plus!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
40 hours a week (Monday through Friday), though it will be an average of four 10 hour days a week (generally 7:30 am-5:30pm with some flexibility). One day off a week, though rotating as determined by our work schedules. This is a short-term full-time position for the summer (6/10/24 through 8/09/2024) until school resumes. Major holiday off (July 4th day) and one scheduled week of paid vacation in the end of July (July 29th through August 5th).
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$35/hr Major holiday off (July 4th) and one scheduled week of paid vacation at the end of July (July 29th through August 5th). 40 Hours guaranteed!

We are looking for someone kind, caring, patient, attentive and flexible. Reliability and timeliness is essential, as we both work in health care. We are looking for a someone who is motivated to help create a loving, interactive environment for our daughters. Safe driver and Good communication a must.
