We're a pretty easygoing family of four + 2 furry ones raised in Colorado. It's myself, my husband, our two boys ages 6 and 10, a spunky mini labradoodle and a super sweet old black lab. My husband and I both work full-time in our offices in Denver although we occasionally work from home. We're active but not your typical Boulder family - we love gluten and cookies and we don't run marathons or do ironmans!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We're looking for an after school nanny for the 2018-2019 school year who can pick up the kids from school, help them with their homework, and take them to their various activities.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our 6-year-old boy is a little jokester - he's always trying to make you laugh and is full of surprises. Our 10-year-old is super sweet but much more studious. :) Both kids love sports and legos.
Describe your home setting: We live in a classic Boulder 1960s tri-level in South Central Boulder with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood about a mile from the kids' school.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
No tasks/errands for the family. For the kids, taking them to/from activities, homework help, and feeding them an after-school snack.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading with the youngest, playing legos, playing sports (catch with a baseball, soccer, etc.), playing board games, going to the park.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR/First and experience with school age kids!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
2:30-6, 4 days a week, preferably Mon-Thurs but the days of the week are flexible. We'd prefer someone who could work the whole school year.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$18-$20//hr
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
2 dogs - a mini australian labradoodle (8 months old, 20 lbs) and a senior citizen (13 year old) black lab that lays in his bed all day.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We're looking for someone who likes to laugh, smile and have fun with the kids and shows up on time (because my 10-year-old really dislikes being picked up late)!
