Mom and Dad, + a soon-to-be 8 year old boy and a just-turned 1 year old girl. Dad works full time and mom stays home with occasional freelance work + own small business. We are very close and very loving! We have a lot of fun together.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Mom is trying to ramp up freelance business and small business (sewing eco-friendly sustainable, organic accessories and clothing).
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Almost 8 year old boy and just turned 1 year old girl. Both kids are very sweet and loving. 8 year old boy attends school in Boulder, smart, funny, creative, compassionate kiddo. 1 year old is super sweet, funny, active, and precocious.
Describe your home setting: Newer 2 story house near downtown Louisville. We have a finished basement and a loft both with lots of play space for the kids. We are a crafty, creative family and do a lot of projects together. We have one indoor cat who loves attention and is very sweet.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Occasional easy meal prep for kids, light picking up of toys and dishes, if older child is at school and baby sleeping, perhaps sweeping the floor, picking up, folding kids clothes. Potential need to occasionally pick up 8 year old from school. Own reliable car preferred, but possible to use our minivan as well.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading, arts and crafts, outdoor fun and exploring, playing.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant & Child CPR & 1st Aid training.

Start date is flexible
How many hours do you need a nanny for?
6-9 hour a week; Ideal schedule would either be 2-3 mornings from 8:30-11:30, or 2-3 afternoons from 12:30-3:30.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Depending on experience, $18-$22 per hour.

Someone upbeat, positive, responsible, fun, has an excellent understanding of infant safety, not afraid to enforce rules.
