Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
I am looking for a FT Nanny/House Manager to cover before and after school care (see below for schedule) and House Manager duties for a few reasons. 1) I am a solo mom and need the additional predictability and consistency for my work schedule and for my kids well being, 2) Both of my kids are in school this year (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) and I want to provide them time at home instead of starting their day at a daycare, going to school all day and finishing their day at a daycare, 3) my 5 year old operates best if given space and a break from a classroom full of children so I hope to set him up for success by having him in school but giving him time at home instead of a daycare when he is not in school, and 4) I am BUSY and need extra support to ensure our family is healthy and operating well!

6 year old boy and 5 year old boy.
Describe your home setting: We live in a home in the suburbs of Westminster. I am a solo mom, so there is no other guardian in our home. We live in a fantastically supportive neighborhood where we have relationships with many of our neighbors and their children.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Transportation to and from school and activities, housekeeping, shopping, cooking, etc.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Homework, reading, riding bikes, going to the park, swimming, painting/arts and crafts, gardening, and anything else that's fun and keeps the kids active.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
First Aid, CPR, preferably prior nanny or teaching experience, preferably experience with a child with ADHD or ADD (my youngest has not been diagnosed with this but shows many symptoms of this diagnosis so needs additional support and patience at times).

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
M-F 40 hours guaranteed! Before school from 6:30-7:30am and then 11am-6pm for household duties and school pickup. Occasional full days with the boys and longer days depending on my work schedule!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$23-25/hour; 2 weeks Vacation, Major Holidays, Gas stipend, 3 PTO/Sick Days.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Just a baby betta fish names Sparkle.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is energetic and fun but can maintain structure and plan our weeks as it relates to the household and the boys. I'm also looking for someone that takes a team approach and works with me to ensure we are all pulling in the same direction. I need someone who is very reliable and dependable since I am the only parent and also have a full-time job.
