Please describe your family:
We are two fun-loving but professional, new parents in the West Highlands neighborhood of Denver. We would love to find a Nanny who could help care for our new son for 2-3 days a week for at least a year. In addition to our little one, we live in a house with a small shelter pup we adopted when we still lived in Washington DC 5 years ago. Dad works full time from home in a separate office and travels occasionally, and mom works full time in LoDo, and sometimes from home too.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We would greatly value someone with 5+ years of experience working with young children, who clearly loves babies/children and knows a lot about them, especially their developmental needs. Ideal candidates would bring lots of energy and love to our home, helping care for, engage and entertain our little boy in a variety of ways.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Baby boy - will be about 6 months old at Nanny start time.

Describe your home setting: Freestanding home in West Highlands, Dad works from home in separate office area.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Helping to establish/reinforce schedule (i.e., napping, eating. Preparing and serving meals/snacks. Playing and stimulating baby's development/interests. Taking baby on local outings/activities (e.g., music class, park, story time at library). Assisting with light housework, namely dishes and laundry (mostly baby's, making sure baby's play areas are cleaned up/organized at end of day

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Play, reading, going to the park and on walks, story time at the library, music class (if classes are on days Nanny works).

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
5+ years of applicable experience, Non-smoker, Eligible to work in US, CPR and First Aid certified, up to date on vaccines (e.g., TDAP and flu).

When will this position be available?
Start date is flexible

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
2 or 3 days per week, (flex Mon through Thurs) start with 2 days and add 3rd around April, 8am-5pm, occasional hours (evening etc. Would like some transition days before mom goes back to work at end.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Pay is $20-25/hr - 2-5 days of paid vacation, 2 Sick/PTO days. Holidays that fall on days Nanny normally works will be paid holidays

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Small dog - looks like Toto but named Oskar!

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is caring, reliable and experienced with Infants.
