Please describe your family:
We are a busy family of three. My husband is a Colorado native and I moved to Broomfield with her family in 1998. Relationships are very important to both of us, so we spend most of our free time with family and friends. We like to have fun by playing games (board games and cards mostly), watching movies, and being outdoors.
Dad works in Boulder and Mom works in Denver, so we each have about a 30-40 minute commute one-way which makes for longer days. We are looking for someone to work 4 10-hour days, preferably Monday through Thursday.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
This is the first child for both of us and we are in our mid-30s and early 40s. Until now, we have been career focused. We want to be able to continue to focus on our jobs while we are at work and not worry about the kind of care our daughter is receiving. We are looking for a nanny because we want our daughter to receive the kind of care we would give her ourselves--or better! We're not perfect and could certainly stand to learn from others with more experience with children. But we want to know that she is receiving proper attention, is reaching her milestones, and is maintaining a healthy routine. We are also looking for a nanny who is open to doing a nanny-share.

We have one daughter that is 17 weeks old.
Describe your home setting: We live in a 5 bedroom house in a subdivision in West Arvada. Our house is in a cul-de-sac and our neighborhood is a mixture of families and retired couples, so there are always people about.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We would expect the nanny to perform all child-related duties first, which would include child's food prep, dishes from food prep, child's laundry and bed linens, unloading/loading dishwasher, picking up after the child, cleaning and organizing toys, vacuuming the play areas.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We want our nanny to help our infant reach her milestones throughout her first year, so activities such as tummy-time, rolling over, having her track objects are important. We also want the nanny to read and sing to her, play with her during her wakeful times, and take her for walks (weather permitting, of course).

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We need a nanny 4 days per week for 10 hours per day. Prefer M-Th, but are flexible on the days!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$18-$23 per hour. Benefits (Vacation, Major Holidays, PTO/Sick Days) negotiable!
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We have two small dogs (Terrier mixes). One is 9 years old and 12lbs and the other is 3 years old and 16lbs.
