Hi! Our family has relocated to the Longmont area from the the panhandle of Florida. We are a busy household, with two working parents, a 4 year lil boy, and a dog (Hus-ski/Catahoula Leopard mix). We aim to have our home be a place of peace, where the our son can feel very loved, comfortable, and safe to play, learn, rest, and grow. It's great for him to get messy and to express his wild side but with boundaries and consistency - it's a balance that is not always possible to achieve, but I think we have found an intention and approach that work for us! Our 4-year old loves building, creating, and pretending. He is enrolled in preschool. We absolutely love Colorado so far and are looking forward to many years here to come!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
One of the hardest thing we had to do was to say goodbye to our nanny in Florida. She was truly a part of our family. We are looking someone who will be with us long term. My wife and I travel frequently. We are looking for a great nanny that will be comfortable staying with our son when we travel and for we want a date night.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our 4-year is a loving, outgoing, excited to be alive lil boy. He is full of energy and has a magical imagination.
Describe your home setting: We live in a 2 story, 4 bed, 3 bath home in Longmont. We have a fenced in backyard with a beautiful view of the mountains from our back porch.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
At this point, we would just expect the nanny to pick our son up from school from time to time, help with date nights, and to stay with our son when we travel.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
No TV during the week. Facilitating loose and creative play, sparking his creativity and interest (he loves to color and play with his legos) but also knowing when to just hang back and let him be in his own world. Also, helping him learn through books, as well as teaching/reinforcing behaviors, boundaries, and manners. He loves going to the park and dog park!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and first aid.

We are looking to build a team for occasional Date nights and Overnights when we travel.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$20/hr for date nights, Overnights $350/24 hrs.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We would love a nanny who has several years of experience and a warm car-giving personality. It's important our nanny is comfortable helping to reinforce those boundaries in a positive way. We look forward to communicating with our nanny on anything related to the kids, their needs, and their home environment.
