Our family moved to Boulder two years ago. We moved here in part because we love hiking, biking and being outdoors. We also love travel and adventures closer to home (like the Denver Aquarium!). We are big readers and want to instill the joy of reading in our son.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a warm, fun, energetic, loving Nanny/House Manager to care for our son and support our family. Someone who can support our son through some changes coming up this fall - such as starting pre-school and moving (still in Boulder). We love it when a nanny has ideas for us on activities or maybe a new way of organizing the day we had not considered. We value the expertise of a nanny as well as the life experience and hobbies they will bring to our family.

3.5 year old boy
Describe your home setting: We live in a house in Boulder with close access to Pearl Street, the library, etc.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Family laundry, light housekeeping, occasional errands. Meal prep potentially, grocery shopping. Anything needed!
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading, swimming, painting! He is a very active little guy and outside/active time in the morning and afternoon is usually best. He loves books and we put a huge emphasis on reading. He is very verbal and has a lot to say - he also listens to everything so we work hard to be good role models. :) His current nanny has done a great job with painting, coloring and crafts which he really enjoyed. We have a membership to the Boulder museum and he loves it there. He also loves going to the Spruce Pool, the library park, playgrounds and the bounce house when it's rainy. Arts and crafts,age appropriate activities.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid, experience with preschoolers and House Management.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
30 hours okay, but we are also open up to 40 hours!
We need:
MWF - 11:30 - 5 (Pick up from pre-school and bring home)
T/TH - 9-5
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$23-$25/hour. We offer 2 weeks Vacation, Major Holidays, PTO/Sick Days and Performance bonus!
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Not at this time.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Our son loves the water, we would love a nanny who could help him with swimming skills. Must have experience with preschoolers and House Management skills!
