Much like a lot of people in the Denver metro area, we are transplants. We moved here from Michigan to get away from the long winters and dreary days. Lucky for us, we both found our dream jobs (for now!). I work in a hospital while my husband works for the City of Denver. We are both in our early thirties and laid back. We love to eat, explore, travel, bike, hike (mostly him), and shop (mostly me). We are looking to Share A Nanny with close friends who live 10 minutes from us in Thornton and have a baby the same age!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
While assessing our options for childcare, it became evident that a Nanny Share was the right option for us. Going back to work was a very difficult decision, so knowing there is someone at home loving our children makes the decision a little easier.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Two newborn girls,both just under a month old.
Describe your home setting: Both families live in a single family home in the northern suburbs of Denver, specifically Thornton within 10 minutes of each other. Specific details concerning which house(s)s we will use to be determined.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The nanny's sole focus should be on our children. Any tasks expected will be related to them, such as cleaning up a mess they have made, occasional laundry, etc.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Going to the park, reading at the library or at home, visiting the children's museum, zoo, nature and science museum, pool or similar. Both families will discuss job details further during the interview!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR/First Aid. TDAP (tetanus/pertussis) and willing to get flu shot every fall, will pay for any needed.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
M-F 7am-5:30pm - 1 year commitment.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$28-$32/hour. Guaranteed pay and schedule. Vacation, Major Holidays, PTO/Sick Days to be negotiated!
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Two lazy cats!
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Experience with Infants and twins/multiples. Nurturing, patient and organized. Familiar with Ages and Stages, developmental activities, feeding, etc. We really want someone who is willing to be a part of our families and love our children like we do!
