We are a fun and adventurous family that loves to hang out together. The kids enjoy jumping on the trampoline in the back yard or playing with neighborhood friends out front. They love art projects and drawing/coloring. Or even biking around the block.

I am starting a new job and will need someone to help me with the kids and household management while I'm at work / on my way home.

My daughter is 11 years old and my son is 7 years old.
Describe your home setting: We live in a house in a beautiful neighborhood with a big back yard in Denver. We live off of Colorado Blvd. - between Cherry Creek & Lowry. I'm a single mom and the neighborhood is extremely safe (there's a security car that drives around).

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The main priority is taking care of the kids, picking them up from school, a couple of activities may be a possibility. Household help includes laundry, errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, homework assistance (every once in a while), and feeding the dogs (no need to walk them, they are super chill and loving).
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Give them lots of love and TLC, be a support system for them while I'm away, playing with them, reading, going to the park as well (there are a couple very close by to our house). Must have a lot of energy! :)
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid Certifications, experience as a Nanny and House Manager, experience with school age kids!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Monday and Tuesday from 1:30-6:30 and will include every other Friday from 1:30-6:30. Will guarantee 10 hrs/wk and 15 hrs other week. MUST be flex to stay later because of traffic or meetings!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$20-24 depending on experience. I would offer 2 paid vacation days at the completion of 6 months.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
2 dogs - an English Retriever and a mini Golden Doodle
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is loving, creative, calm, energetic, and fun. It's very helpful to be silly as well. I want someone who is patient and will be able to help my kiddos navigate times when they are feeling frustrated in a loving and communicative way. I really need someone reliable who can commit to 1 year!
Additional comments:
My son has Dyslexia so I would like someone who would be able to read with him and write a few sentences - maybe 15-20 minutes total.
