We are an outdoorsy, active, animal loving family of 4 (6 if you count our two kittens! Mom, Dad, 4 and 2 yr old girls, Jingle and Maple (kittens).
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a summer nanny to take good care of our girls. Specifically, someone who is active and interested in spending a lot of time outdoors with them (riding bikes, going to the park, playing in the yard, going on nature walks on neighborhood trails, going to the neighborhood swimming lake etc). There is the potential for a longer term if the fit is right and the extension is mutually agreeable, but we are also ok with applicants interested in the summer only. We ideally need someone who can start on June 4 and stay through the end of August. Also, it would be a plus to have someone interested in subsequent summers.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Two sweet girls ages 4 (turns 5 in August) and 2 (turns 3 in April).
Describe your home setting: House with large fenced yard, near open space, with trail access, neighborhood playgrounds/parks, and neighborhood swimming lake in Longmont/Niwot.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Childcare is the primary responsibility and takes precedence over anything else. Light housework (i.e. kids laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dinner planning/prep) would be appreciated if possible, during nap/quiet time etc.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Play with them! We absolutely require someone interested in doing outdoor activities with them (biking, playing in yard and/or at neighborhood parks, nature walks on neighborhood trails, swimming at neighborhood lake etc.). We want them to have a fun summer!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid. Lifeguard certification and/or highly competent swimming ability is a plus.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
June through August M - F (45 hours / week). Ideal hours 7:00am-4:00pm with some flexibility around this if needed. We are looking for a Summer Nanny. There is the potential for a longer term if the fit is right and the extension is mutually agreeable, but we are also okay with applicants interested in the summer only. We ideally need someone who can start on June 4 and stay through the end of August (but some flexibility is possible).
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$800 weekly. Also, some vacation/paid time off, major holidays (details to be discussed).
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes, 2 cats.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Someone who is upbeat, energetic, friendly, active/outdoorsy and fun! It is very important to us that a nanny be very attentive and trustworthy as we want to feel confident in the safety of our girls and we want to be able to allow swim time at the neighborhood lake.
Additional comments:
Would consider allowing a kid-friendly and cat-friendly dog to accompany a nanny!
