We are a family of five with two girls (ages 7 and 3) and one boy (age 5). We have lived in New York, Miami, Chicago and Turkey and have finally decided to call Boulder, Colorado our home. Over the years, we have worked with a variety of Nannies/House Managers and they have become ingrained in the fabric of our family. We encourage our Nannies/House Managers to bring their own style and unique lens -- autonomy can be very empowering. Our family rule is simple: respect others and ourselves.
Our kids are full of energy and curious about the world. They have been blessed with the "gift of gab" so it won't take you long to know what they think and how they feel! We encourage unstructured play, as the life skills that come through navigating conflict and encouraging creativity are arguably as important as the technical skills like reading, writing and math. We believe that life is a laboratory for learning if facilitated in the right way. Our kids love to travel (road trips are a specialty), play games (Uno and freeze tag), exercise (scooting, running and more tag), talk (they love meeting people!) and do art projects (especially messy ones).
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are seeking an experienced Nanny/House Manager. Teaching experience an absolute plus! We are looking for 30-40 hours per week (flex days and hours) and can be flexible on how it is structured. While we anticipate our two older kids to enter school in late August, there is the chance the kids will be remote learning and would like to have someone who is either experienced in teaching or willing to assist if needed. We would like someone who has previous Household Management experience, great organizational skills and ability to multi-task a plus!

We would love someone who is very experienced in multi-tasking between Childcare and House Management. Responsibilities will include family laundry, keeping things organized and tidy, errands,grocery shopping and meal prep, basically anything needed!
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Arts & Crafts, Indoor/Outdoor Play, Developmental Creative Learning Activities, Reading, Biking etc., having fun! We would love someone who could integrate teaching and learning into childcare including activities that promote reading, math, art and basic science etc.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid Certification.
Bachelor's degree with teaching experience, familiar with primary school curriculum, knowledge of science, art and nature are a plus!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?

$28-$30/hr plus gas stipend if your car is used.
