We’ve been married for 17 years and are now excited new parents to an amazing 16-month-old daughter. Dad runs his business from home office and Mom works part-time from home office.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We both need a period of time during the day to focus on work. We’re looking for an awesome nanny to care for our daughter in the mornings or afternoons and a date night!
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
16-month-old daughter. Cheerful, sweet, playful, and curious toddler who is so, so cute. She is a great eater and sleeper, and enjoys all toddler activities, especially going for long walks.
Describe your home setting:
Three-story end-unit townhome in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood. Nanny will have access to the entire 1st floor (living room, dining room, laundry, personal ½-bathroom, and kitchen), along with our daughter’s room and changing area on the 2nd floor. Dad’s office is on the 2nd floor and mom’s office is on the 3rd floor. Our home is connected to greenway trails and is walking distance to multiple parks.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Toddler care (feeding, changing diapers, play, and putting her down for naps) and fun age-appropriate developmental activities. Light house-management tasks, including tidying up, rotating laundry, dishes, watering plants, and potentially some errands.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Caring for, playing with, and reading to our daughter. Going on walks, weather permitting. We value creativity, movement, music, and a good balance of indoor and outdoor time.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Infant CPR & First Aid. Covid-vaccinated and agreement to keep up with Covid booster shots as needed. We would like our nanny to complete the online Parenting Safe Children training with Feather Berkower as soon as able (we would cover the expense).

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
25 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm, and one date-night (flexible on the night).
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$28-$30/hr. Benefits include paid Vacation, Major Holidays, Sick-time, Signing Bonus, and Holiday Bonus.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for an awesome nanny who is caring, playful, and kind. Honesty, integrity, dependability, and professionalism are really important to us. Our ideal nanny will have solid experience with toddlers and their safety, as well as strong knowledge of and skill in age-appropriate developmental activities. Bonus: a nanny who is a life-long learner; someone who is interested in developing a long-term relationship with our family and working in partnership with us for the care of our daughter.
