Jen - $20 - $23 TEMP/PERM PT Nanny T-W-TH - 4 Weeks N. Boulder

Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5670
Location: Boulder, CO

Please describe your family:
I am 4th grade teacher, who is teaching online for the year. My husband also works from home in a downstairs office. We have two daughters, one who is 11, and in middle school online and our 2nd daughter, just turned 8.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for help with our 2nd Grader, three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Her school has gone to online learning. She loves to learn, however, online school is hard for her unless one of us is with her. Her schooling is not super hard and consists of watching a teaching video or a live lesson, and then doing an independent activity. As an online teacher, I am online teaching from 9-1:30 daily and so I cannot assist her. My husband is also working full time, so he is able to help here and there, but not consistently. When we were online when school first started, we realized that supporting her while both of is are working is nearly impossible.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our daughter is 8 years old and she's in 2nd grade. She loves to learn and is a happy kid. She is also very social, so working with a person one on one is good for her, rather than being alone. She is also better at getting her school work done with someone else, rather than one of us! :) She likes to do well and is generally a hard worker. Our older daughter does not require help, as she is independent and is online with her middle school teachers most of the day.

Describe your home setting: We live in a house in North Boulder. It is in a great neighborhood and the end of our street is a cul-de-sac. We have a loft area where we have a desk for her schoolwork and a table as well. We also have a yard with a trampoline and a ninja line out back for kids to play on.

Additional comments:
We have been relatively careful as a family regarding COVID. Our children were going to school hybrid, however, we do not take them to stores or restaurants. They have mainly played with only their friends in our neighborhood and are now playing with them with masks on. We would hope for someone who is also being relatively safe, wearing masks when out and not meeting in big gatherings.
