We’re a family of four. The two parents are creatives who often work from home. Mom is a potter and children’s book illustrator. Dad is a documentary filmmaker and author. As a family, we’re playful, outdoorsy, goofy, love adventure, environmentally conscious, and accepting of everyone and anyone under the sun.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We're looking for a Full-Time Nanny/House Manager to be the Master of Ceremonies for our two boys! We run our businesses from about 9 to 5pm during the week and are looking for a "Mary Poppins" type individual to bring positivity, structure and a fun learning environment into our home.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have two kind and energetic little boys. They're best buddies and are always up for adventure and exploration of the world around them. Our 8 year old son is extremely bright (reads at a level 3 ages above him, asks tons of questions, and loves making jokes). He’s also extremely good at understanding adults and can be challenging if he’s not kept busy / on his toes. We’re currently homeschooling him, so the ideal candidate has experience working with kids in elementary school.
Our 3.5 year old son is a little explorer, who has a ton of questions about the fascinating reality around him. He absolutely adores his older brother and the two can either be a self-contained unit who read to each other and entertain themselves, or… they can become a demolition duo if they’re not being guided by a loving but firm caregiver.
Describe your home setting: We live in North Boulder in a 3500 square foot house, a few minutes walk from two or three different playgrounds. We are currently building a new house near the Boulder Reservoir.

Light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, shopping, errands, potentially driving them to sports. Anything needed!

Home schooling (math, reading, science), casual reading, outdoor activities (like playground, hiking, bike park, swimming at the Boulder Res, etc).
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid, Taking Covid seriously.

Start date is flexible
How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Monday through Friday 45 hours per week which includes a flexible date night. 9am to 5 pm daily with some occasional flexibility.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$30 to $35 per hour. Vacation, Major Holidays, Sick Days, Health Stipend, Potential for Travel, Performance Bonus! We spoil our Nanny!
