Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Both of us have full time in person jobs and are in our 40s. We feel that we need a lot of support to keep up with our careers and starting a family.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We are due in June. I will not be able to take much time off (will go back after 4-5wk, at least Part Time). Will need infant care

Describe your home setting: We are about equidistant between N Boulder, Longmont and Lyons. Rural property on dirt roads. We have a small (hobby) farm with chickens, sheep, livestock dogs, cats

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
House manager - duties as needed. Light housekeeping, laundry, errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, walk the dogs, water the garden, etc. I would like to come home to house in the same condition as we left it. General clean up after the baby-like rinsing bottles, cleaning up food/dishes, baby laundry, organization etc.

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Early Childhood development activities, nurturing and just be outside!

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid. Vaccination and familiar with Covid-19 protocols required.

When will this position be available?
Start date is flexible

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
40 hr per week, flexible schedule that could include occasional evening or weekend day. Dad works Mon-Fri while generally I have Fridays off. We are looking for general 8-430 or 5 Mon-Thur. Fridays, think we need at least a half day so I can run errands or perhaps get in a bike ride.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$30/hr depending on experience and duties involved. Vacation, major holidays, sick days.

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes! Chickens, dogs (must be comfortable with friendly, very social, large livestock dogs!) ducks, sheep, cats and 17 peacocks!

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
This position is definitely for someone who enjoys the countryside and animals. This is not a spotless home but it is a perfect home for us!
