We are a young, fun, bohemian- type family with a fun-loving 4-year-old boy and a sweet, bold and adventurous 1.5 year old girl. We live on a farm in North Boulder with chickens, goats and cows. We run philanthropic foundations focusing on sustainable agriculture and social justice issues from home. Our family loves to entertain and like our home, pool and climbing gym to be headquarters for our friends and family. We are health/food focused and like to eat as local/fresh/organic as possible. We travel often and plan to continue to see the world post-covid with a nanny willing to come along! We have a home in Breckenridge as well and would love to take you on ski trips with us!
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Our active family and children are the center of our lives, and while we aim to keep it that way, we could use a hand running our household/taking care of our littles. The farm and our jobs take a good amount of time, and we want to add a “family” member type nanny who loves our lifestyle as much as we do.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our 4-year-old son is an active, sensitive, intuitive and sharp little guy. He is very in touch with himself and adults and has a lot of love in his heart. He is curious, inquisitive and adventurous. He lives life boldly and we encourage him, with a hands-off approach, to explore the world with gusto and intention. You can often find him in the chicken coop picking up chickens or digging worms to feed to his feathered friends.
Our 1.5-year-old daughter is sharp, bold and affectionate. She knows what she wants, and we encourage her strong will and wise spirit. She is a giggly, silly little dancer and is as cute as she is fun. Both kids absolutely love water and will be in the pool daily in summer if given the opportunity.
Describe your home setting:
We have a ten-acre farm with a fledgling fruit orchard, large gardens, recreation barn w/climbing gym, pool/hot tub, and lots of outdoor play spaces. We have farm animals and love it if our nanny was comfortable playing with goats and maybe tossing them some hay on occasion. Inside, we have a playroom for the kiddos and lots of space to entertain.
We have 3 dogs and a cat. We believe our space is a great place to nanny and we try and provide a great experience for all.
We are close to Boulder Res in North Boulder.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Light housekeeping (ie. Dishes, vacuuming, tidying up), Kid’s laundry, organization, occasional errands, meal prep/cooking etc. Flexibility to include more House Manager duties as needed.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Reading, Painting, imaginative outdoor play, visits to parks, swimming, climbing, playing with animals, arts and crafts, gardening, hiking, etc
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid, lifeguard/swimming coach is preferred but not required - must be an excellent swimmer. Covid Vaccination.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
FT M-F with 40 hours a week of pay guaranteed. We would like to include a date night (flexible on the day and time within the 40 hours). We would like a nanny who can travel with us and has a valid passport.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$30-$35 with vacation, holidays, sick days. Monthly healthcare of $200. Travel stipend and Performance Bonus.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
3 dogs, 1 cat, and outside farm animals.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We need someone who fits well with our family's values, lifestyle and overall relaxed vibe. We want to find the person who can step in and join our family. This individual will love their job here and will be well taken care of by our family.
