We are a fun and active family of 5 in Longmont. We have a 6 year old daughter, 4 year old son, and our youngest son is 15 weeks old. Dad is an engineer that works from home and Mom is school psychologist that works part-time. We love to get outdoors and keep active. Our daughter will be in 1st grade, our older son will be in preschool part time. We have 2 dogs and a cat that are a big part of our family.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
During the past year we had our kids completing school online and relied on Grandparents to help watch them while I worked part time. Now that we have been vaccinated we are planing on sending the kids back to school in person and are looking for someone who can help watch our 15 week old and our 4 year old (when he is not at preschool M-TH 9-11:15ish) while I am at work (3 day’s week for around 9 hrs) as well as a date night once a week (for a total of 30 hrs a week).
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our daughter just turned 6 and is a bright an active little girl who loves using her imagination with anything she plays with. She will be starting 1st grade and loves to read and write stories and create things. Our son just turned 5 and is a rambunctious and sweet little boy with lots of energy. He loves playing outside and is good at entertaining himself but also enjoys cuddling and reading a book with you. Our 15 week old is the easiest going of the three. He is very good at following a schedule and is usually happy to watch his brother and sister play around him. Overall he is a very happy baby.
Describe your home setting: We live in unincorporated boulder county on the north west side of longmont on about 1 acre of land. We have a small neighborhood with around 25 homes and back up to a large knoll with a walking path. A great neighborhood to ride bikes and take walks with the kids. We have a large grassy field and professional playground for the kids to play on as well as a spacious home with lots of different play areas for the kids.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Primarily taking care of the kids and engaging them in fun activities as well as cleaning up after the kids, making snacks and lunches for them.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We are looking for someone who can keep our kids engaged and active throughout the day. We limit screen time and would like someone who is able to do that as well. We also would love someone who enjoys engaging the kids in imaginative play, arts and crafts, music, and reading.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid, COVID Vaccination.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
30 hrs a week - Three 9 hour days a week (can be flexible on what days) as well as a 3 hour date night or extra time for me to run errands once a week (flexible on days/ time)

$25-$30 per hour. Vacation, major holidays. sick days and performance bonus!
