My husband and I have two children, boy (3 years) and girl (10 months). We also have two sweet dogs, Rudy and Magpie.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We have worked with a nanny over the past 1.5 years, and she is moving on to pursue her nursing degree. We are sad to see her go, as we’ve developed such a bond, but are happy she is doing what she loves. We are looking for a part time nanny to assist with childcare and minimal house duties while I work part time.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our son is 3 years old and is in school M/W/F. He is a very smart, exuberant little guy. Our daughter is just 10 months old and is very sweet and spirited.
Describe your home setting: We live in a home in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood of Denver. This neighborhood is very walkable, and is close to Washington Park as well as Cherry Creek.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The main duty for our nanny will be childcare – taking care of them during the day (mainly our daughter, when our son is in preschool) – feeding them, taking them outside to play, going on walks, etc. Light housekeeping, such as loading/unloading dishwashers, folding laundry and tidying up the house is also appreciated.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We’d like our nanny to keep the kiddos near home (not use a car) and take them to nearby classes (music, dance), go on walks, play outside and while home read, play games, learning and developmental activities etc.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid certified. We do not require our nanny to be vaccinated against Covid (we feel this is a personal choice).

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We need a nanny for anywhere from 15-20 hours with a set schedule and guaranteed hours. The days of the week and hours are flexible, but we would like to include one date night a week (i.e. 5-9 p.m.) Our past nanny worked on Mondays from 9-2 and Thursdays, full day, including a date night. Again, we are very flexible with the days that our nanny works.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
We will pay $35/hour. Vacation, holidays, sick days. Performance bonus!
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes, we have two dogs.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for a nanny who is dependable, responsible and brings a positive attitude to our house.
