We are a family of 5: Mom, Dad, Son (7), Son (5), Daughter (3). We also have two sweet cats. We live in a great neighborhood in North Boulder.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Mom and Dad work full time from our home. Our kids are in school during the day. We’re looking for a loving and supportive nanny/house manager to pick them up from school, care for them, and help us through and including bedtime. Ideally, we’d also find someone who could come in the morning as well to get them off to school.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Our youngest daughter is 3, she is sweet and friendly and likes to engage and play. Our middle son is 5, and we want to get him out of the house a little more and engage him more educationally when inside. Our oldest son is 7. He is very creative, likes to build and play Minecraft; he also has ADHD and can get a little wilder and more sensitive when his medicine wears off, but he’s also caring.
Describe your home setting: We live in a two-story house in North Boulder. Mom and Dad also work from home, but typically in a home office or bedroom. We are sensitive that a nanny will need to be able to do their job without intervention from the parents.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Nanny and House Manager duties including: picking the kids up from school; feeding the kids and preparing their lunch bags for the next day; some homework help or reading/math practice; taking kids to park or to tutors/lessons; getting kids ready for and putting them to bed; errands such as picking up prescriptions or groceries or shipping packages; light housekeeping such as sweeping, laundry, cleaning up after meal, and running the dishwasher etc.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We’d love for our nanny to read to the kids, help them with their (light) homework, practice reading/writing/math with the 5-year-old, take the younger two to the local park on occasion or to a similar activity, and otherwise engage with them.
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
First Aid / CPR, COVID vaccinated.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Ideally, we’d love to find someone who can do 7-9am and then 2:30-8pm or so. If that’s not possible, let’s talk, because we can likely find something that works. For example, we could do just 1-8, or 2-8. We could do additional hours on the weekend, if that were of interest.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$40-$45 per hour; vacation, sick days, major holidays; annual performance bonus; monthly healthcare stipend. Car provided for driving the cildren.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
2 Cats.
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Just a loving, caring person who is looking to develop a long-term relationship with our family.
