We are a fun loving, busy, family with 4 young children. We live in Boulder and do travel often. We are a child centered home (we are building our backyard to be a kids dream land!) and try our best to use positive discipline to teach our children. We want our children to have positive self talk and be empowered to be the people they were born to be.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We have had a wonderful, successful relationship with our nanny for the past two years but she is transitioning out of the position due to a very long commute. We are hoping to find someone else who can step in and become part of our family and love our four children as if they were their own. Often times, the nanny is really a second set of hands to help with the busy times of day as mom or dad shuttles kids to and from school and after school activities.
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
We have three girls- ages 8, 7, and 5 and a 3 year old little boy. The job is primarily caring for the little boy during the day when he is not at preschool, but we also want someone who will become a large part of the girls' lives after school.
Describe your home setting: We have a family compound in downtown Boulder. My husband and I live in the home with the children and our happy Labrador retriever. Grandparents will live next door in a few months! We are very playful and family oriented.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
We have a daily housekeeper who does most of the kids laundry. There is an occasional load of laundry to throw in, cooking and light meal prep for the children, we all have a shared instacart so anyone can order groceries. We are teaching our children to be responsible for their things, so obviously some clean up is needed, but we are really hoping for someone who helps the children learn this skill vs having the nanny do it all herself!
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
The kids love to play outside, read, do any learning activities, bake, play games, do hair and makeup. The boy loves to play monster trucks and spiderman. We are truly looking for someone who will be active and engage with the children!
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid Certified. Covid vaccinated required. Experience with young/multiple children is a must.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
Monday through Friday - the hours and schedule can be flexible with our other nanny's schedule, but we can guarantee 40 hours per week and a set schedule, occasional evenings /weekends. Must be flexible with travel as we have homes in Vail and New York City as well as fun vacations!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$45-$50/hr - All rate and desired benefits are negotiable, but we do run everything through a home office to make sure that everything is done completely legally and equitably.
Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
Yes- one big fat happy dog!
What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for a proactive go getter- someone who is willing to be part of our family team to make life better for our children. We are hoping for someone with a calm, stable, warm energy to provide a loving environment in our home.
