We are a family of three living in Longmont, CO. My husband and I are first time parents and we have a beautiful daughter who is almost 3 months old. We are seeking a part-time nanny for 3 days a week who can form a relationship with our daughter and assist with childcare. We grew up in this area, and both grandmas and uncles are local as well. We are avid campers and enjoy the outdoors. We keep a secular home. We are up to date on all recommended vaccinations (flu, COVID, tdap, etc.), including boosters.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Both mom and dad work from home but seek nanny support to ensure we can dedicate the time needed to our jobs while our daughter gets the attention and full time care necessary for her age and development. We are looking for a nanny who can provide basic infant care and support household errands associated with our baby girl.

Our daughter is almost 3 months old. She is smiley and interested in the world around her.
Describe your home setting: We live in a single-family home in Longmont. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to a large park. Our nursery is upstairs, though many activities are on the main floor of the house as well.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
The main duty for our nanny will be childcare - feeding, burping, diaper changes, naps, baths as needed, and activities - especially ones that support development: play gym, tummy time, neighborhood walks, reading to her, engaging with music, etc.
Additional tasks would include washing bottles/pacifiers, baby laundry, emptying the diaper bin trash and keeping the play areas/nursery tidy.
Our baby is currently cared for largely on demand for feeding, naps, etc. She is not yet on a firm schedule but we will develop one as she gets older and will look for your support in implementing that schedule. Some tech savviness would be helpful as we use an app to track her schedule currently.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We would like our nanny to support our infants development - playing with the play gym and contrast cards, tummy time, reading and singing. No screen time please. We would like our baby to spend time outside on neighborhood walks. We’d like our nanny to keep the baby near home (not to use a car without permission)
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid. Covid vaccinated and boosted. Up-to-date with tdap.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We need a nanny for 24 hours per week. The ideal days of the week would be Mon-Wed. We could also do Tue-Thurs, if that is better for our nanny’s schedule. Hours ideally would be 8:30am - 4:30pm. We have some flexibility with that schedule.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$30-$35/hour. Benefits include guaranteed hours, Vacation, Major Holidays, Sick Days, Performance Bonus. Rate and benefits are negotiable.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
We are looking for a nanny who is experienced with infants and safe sleep practices. We would like someone who is patient and will support our daughter as she learns and develops. We need someone dependable, responsible and who brings a positive attitude to the job.
