Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5766
Location: Boulder, CO

Please describe your family:
We are a loving family, very active and always laughing. My husband and I moved to Boulder from New York City, but we are right at home in Boulder where we take full advantage of the easy access to nature. We have a sweetheart husky pup, and our baby boy is the newest and most adored member of our family. On weekends you'll find us hiking, skiing, camping and eating delicious food. We are long-time vegetarians and intend to raise the baby on a vegetarian diet. My husband is a U.S. Marine Veteran and an industrial engineer, so the house is always organized and clean. We both work full-time in demanding roles, and occasionally travel for work. We have lived, worked and traveled all over the world and we're happy to be settled down in our home here in Boulder.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Our top priority is to find an experienced nanny who adores our son, and wants to engage, develop and care for him as much as we do. The right nanny for us is energetic, loving, caring, responsible and trustworthy.

We both work full-time from home with demanding jobs and schedules, and need your support Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Ideal candidates will also be open to working later on two set “date nights” per month (that we can predetermine together), and occasionally working extended hours (i.e., if one of us is traveling for work). Reliability and timeliness are key, and candidates must have their own dependable vehicle for transportation to and from our home.

It’s important to us that our nanny feels comfortable communicating openly and honestly, and we will hold ourselves to the same standard, so our working relationship is strong and enjoyable.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
One delightful and adorable 4-month old baby boy.

Describe your home setting: Our primary residence is in Devil’s Thumb in South Boulder and backs up to the Bear Mountain Open Space Mountain Park. We will soon be starting a 6-month renovation of our home. We expect to find a rental property within a close radius of our current residence. Candidates will need to be open to working from that location temporarily.
