J.J. - $30-$33 FT Nanny-House Assistant - Incredibly Cute, Active, Happy Newborn!

Nanny Job Details

Job ID: 5769
Location: Longmont, CO

Please describe your family:
Hello! We’re new parents to an incredibly cute, active, and happy newborn! He is very sweet, enjoys playtime as well as naptime. As a family, we love spending time with each other - we love cooking together and trying new recipes and enjoy being outdoors together. We’re looking forward to working together as a team with our nanny and can’t wait to welcome you to the family.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
Both of us (dad and mom) work full time so we are looking for a nanny to help support the development of our child while we are at work. In sum, we need a FT infant/newborn nanny that is extremely safe, proactive, and intuitive. Dad works from home pretty much all of the time - mom is a teacher and also works from home sometimes.

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Boy - 1 month old - sweetest little man you’d ever meet!

Describe your home setting: House in Longmont, CO within walking distance to McIntosh lake (beautiful scenery and tons of things to do outside in this neighborhood!) (so on the west side of Longmont). We have a nice big yard that is shared with our neighbors, lots of sunlight/natural light in the house, also have a play area in the basement. Our house is very comfortable with aesthetically pleasing decorations - we love hanging at home, relaxing by the fireplace and soaking up the time we have with our new son watching him grow!

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Basic tasks for baby, including bottle feeding/cleaning, taking our baby outside for activities and outdoor time (walks, park, etc.), tummy time, playing with musical and colorful toys, reading and talking to the baby, engaging with the baby to make them smile and laugh! Working on growth and developmental activities such as good speech, identifying colors, reading, crawling, sitting, standing, etc. Keeping a journal/notes of baby’s developmental milestones, likes/dislikes, etc. that way we can all get to know our little one more! Also, providing the infant with nurturing care by keeping the baby safe and happy, bathing and changing the baby's clothes, providing comfort and social interaction to teach the infant to be friendly and expressive, changing diapers and toilet training. Cooking for child, shopping or running errands for child (if necessary), washing baby's clothes and bottles/dishes. If time, some light housekeeping but this is certainly not the priority as we would like you to be focused on caring for the little one first and foremost.

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Listed this above as well - but things like tummy time, playtime, reading, singing, working with the child to make sure their educational needs are met.
