My husband and I have two happy, silly and smart kids. We love spending time together exploring the outdoors, making cupcakes for any occasion, practicing our various athletic skills and creating artwork to send to every relative.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for an experienced nanny/house manager that can plan and implement educational based learning, and is fun, caring and responsible. Help with childcare when kids are not in school and house assistant tasks around the house when they are in school. We travel and would like someone who will accompany us on great vacations!

Describe your home setting: We live in a home on 2.5 beautiful acres and spend a lot of time outside. Our kids love to play on the play set, jump on the trampoline, dig in the dirt, and play sports. We also have a play area inside, but somehow the hallway always becomes a favorite place to play.

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
For childcare, all tasks related to the children. House manager responsibilities include dishes, laundry, occasional errands, meal prep, grocery shopping, general tidying up etc., when the kids are at school. Our son will be in school M-F 8am-2:30pm and our daughter is in school MWF 9am-12:30pm.
What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
We’d like you to come prepared weekly with educational lesson plans and fun activities (we will pay for all materials and any expenses incurred). Someone who can do art, music, and sports with our kids (no need to be an expert, just an interest in trying). Also, take the younger one (sometimes both of the kids) on trips to a museum, the playground, and pre-planned activities (like a gymnastics class).
What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR and First Aid Certified. A degree in Education or ECE is preferred, but open to someone who has other fields of study/experience/teaching as well.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
30-35 hours per week, M-F. Potential for occasional date nights or additional hours. Minimum 1 year commitment. Must be freely available to travel!
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$35-$40 per hour. Paid 2 weeks vacation, major holidays, sick days, health stipend, and paid travel with our family to places like Beaver Creek and to our lake house in Northern Michigan (in the summer).

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Our son has an articulation disorder and is in speech therapy 2 x per week. We need our nanny to help him with speech activities that are provided by the speech therapist. We would like our nanny to have flexibility to travel with our family!
