We are a Dual-Physician, Loving family of 5 seeking a Full Time Nanny/Mgr that is Dependable, Dedicated, Organized, Kind, Loving, and Active. We love being outside, enjoying these gorgeous Colorado mountains, spending time with family and friends, and celebrating holidays.

Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
We are looking for a new Full Time Nanny/Mgr. to care for our three awesome girls. We have had a very successful relationship with past nannies who have stayed multiple years with our family! Looking for a January 8, 2024 start date, but there is some flexibility!

Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
Nanny/Mgr. will care for 3 sweet, smart girls ages 3, 5 and 8 years old:
8-year-old is thoughtful, helpful and sensitive. She enjoys dance, art, cello, rock-climbing, and reading. She would do best with a nanny who is gentle and consistent. (In school M-F 8:15-3:15pm).
5-year-old is funny, creative, energetic and big-hearted. She enjoys crafts, make-believe, dancing, gymnastics and singing. She would do best with a nanny who is energetic and engaged. (In school M-F 8:15-3:15pm).
3-year-old is happy, snuggly, and easy-going. She loves music, the library, going to the park, gymnastic class, and learning new things. She would do best with a nanny who is confident and loving. She is starting preschool M-Th 8:50-11:30am.

Describe your home setting: We live on a beautiful country setting on a large property with acreage off a dirt road that supports a lot of outside time, play, and exploring. The basement and barn are filled with lots of activities for the girls. We like to keep a clean organized home that is warm and inviting. You must have a car with enough space for car seats!

What tasks/errands do you expect your nanny to perform?
Nanny/Mgr. will pick-up girls from school, transport them to and from activities, help with homework, spend free time with play, activity, and/or educational activities. Additional tasks regarding the children include completing the girls’ laundry, keeping areas related to the girls clean and tidy, helping to organize their toys/rooms, preparing their meals during the day, and tidying up kitchen after they eat. Household/Mgr. duties may include errands, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, etc.

What activities do you want your nanny to do with your child?
Our girls love to play in every way imaginable. We like our Nanny/Mgr. to take them outside daily, go on fun adventures and to the park, and come-up with creative activities and projects for them to do. They love reading books and like to go to the library weekly. They also will need assistance with homework and educational workbooks.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
Nanny/Mgr. must be up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including yearly flu shot and COVID vaccine, and be CPR and First Aid certified. You must have a car with enough space for car seats!

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
We need approximately 42-45 hours of coverage per week. While the kids are in school, coverage will be Monday and Wednesday 11a-5p, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 7a-5p (42hrs/wk). While the kids are on school breaks (holidays and summertime), coverage will then be M-F 8a-5p (45hrs/wk). Optional extra hours will be available for date nights and sick days that happen to fall on the Monday and Wednesday late start days. We do expect typical full day coverage when the kids are home ill. Overtime pay after 40 hours.

How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
Pay rate is $30-$33/hr, with guaranteed pay of 40hrs/wk. 1.5 for Overtime hours. Benefits include paid holidays, 7 days of PTO, additional paid time off when the family is on vacation (usually a total of 3-4 weeks/year), and performance bonuses.

Do you have any pets or animals in your home?
We do have a new dog that comes inside the house at times and a cat that remains in the barn.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Nanny must have toddler experience and be able to keep up with 3 active kids! We want someone who models values and takes pride in her job, but also knows how to have fun. It’s very important to us that she is punctual, prioritizes child safety, can maintain structure/stability, and be trustworthy. Our past nannies were all with us for more than two years and we have appreciated open communication, mutual respect, flexibility, and dependability.
