We are a blended family of different ages, care will be for an amazing 9 year old girl.
Please describe why you are looking for a nanny:
The 9 year old's father, who was raising her alone, recently passed away. Her biological mother is not regularly involved in caring for her. We are her primary family and will be seeking custodial rights, if not adoption. We are looking for a compassionate, loving nanny to help in all aspects of childcare. When she is in school, we are looking for an experienced House Mgr./Personal Assistant who can juggle various tasks from errands, light housekeeping, laundry, light cooking, grocery shopping, etc. There will also be evenings, weekend, travel, must have flexibility. This is not a boring job!
Describe the child(ren) you need a nanny for:
A 9 year old girl. Morning routine for school, light household chores (laundry, dishes, grocery), dog care possibly, school pick, activities, homework, etc.
Describe your home setting: Large home and property in a beautiful ranch/country setting, 5 minutes to Boulder.

What special certifications/requirements are you looking for?
CPR & First Aid Certification. Experience as a Nanny/House Mgr. and working with school age children.

How many hours do you need a nanny for?
M-F 40 hours per week with hours ranging between 10am - 6:00pm (flexible hours), we would like someone who is also potentially available for evenings, weekends and overnight and travel. Hours are guaranteed with overtime paid at 1.5.
How much are you willing to pay? Do you offer benefits?
$35/hr with 2 week vacation, major holidays, sick days, health care stipend, travel stipend, performance bonuses. We will provide a car for you to drive during work hours.

What else are you looking for in a nanny?
Loving, caring, able to handle ups and downs of the situation, open minded about how to address her emotional needs.
Additional comments:
We hope to find someone to be a stable influence in her life for as long as we may need her. If this was a 5 year solution, we would be delighted, but not required!
