Level of education: I am currently in a Master Program for Marriage and Family Therapy at Regis University. I have a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Teaching Certification in Montessori Education Ages 3-6 as well as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Certification from Seattle Central College.

Experience: I have over ten years of experience of working with children and managing households with families that come from all different backgrounds. I have worked with children since 2006. I have worked in preschools as a teacher assistant, as a mentor for children working in schools and the community in low- income areas to then starting my career as a professional nanny and household manager.

Interests and hobbies:My interests include reading, hiking, watercolor painting, playing with my dog, road trips and collecting photos on my camera! I also love to spend time with family and friends, travel, cook and listen to podcasts.

Describe your childcare style:My childcare style is organized, encouraging, gentle and thoughtful. Open communication with parents is a skill that I value highly in the partnership of child rearing. I am proactive in creating nap and feeding schedules, as well as planning educational activities for the children during the week. I like to make sure your children have consistency in care as well as being someone who they can look up to as a role model while keeping the days filled with laughter and fun!

What activities do you like to do with children:I like to read as many books as possible during the day while also encouraging any interests that the child might have in science, art and music. When working on milestones for babies I include working with blocks, stacking cups, textured fabrics, singing songs, stacking ups, and in/ out concepts. I am a big fan of being outside and being active with children which includes walks, hikes, bike rides, swimming and games in the park. I enjoy getting out into the community by going to museums, libraries and special classes for child development. Adding in a scavenger hunt and making cardboard forts on rainy days is always a hit!
