Experience: I have 6 years of babysitting experience, 1 year of experience being a preschool teacher, and 1 year of experience being a nanny. I started babysitting as soon as I was legally allowed to at the age of 12! Not only do I have a lot of babysitting experience, but I also worked as a preschool teacher in a daycare for a year! I have been working as nanny for a little over a year now. I have a lot of experience with groups of children, and feel very comfortable watching multiple children at a time. I have worked with ages ranging from infants to 11 years old.

Interests and hobbies:I love almost all activities that have to do with being outside! I love to swim, and cook too! I love music, and movies, but also love a good book. Anything that has to do with Art, History, and Science is very entertaining to me, so naturally I love museums! I am also an animal lover!

Describe your childcare style:I think being able to watch and help children learn and grow is one of the greatest experiences one can have. That being said, children need a loving nurturing environment, along with an environment that has boundaries and consistency. I believe those factors are crucial in helping a child learn and grow. A good relationship with the parents and children and I is extremely important to me.

What activities do you like to do with children:I love taking kids to the park, museums, hiking, swimming, anything active! I also love to cook with kids, I love coming up with fun educational activities, and arts and crafts!

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I have known from a young age that I have a deep passion for helping others, especially children. Working with children is, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most humbling experiences a person can have. Having a bond with a child can teach you so much in life. I absolutely love my career.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Whether a nanny or a babysitter, I think it is so important to have qualities like being nurturing, caring, kind, patient, understanding, brave, creating safe environments, great communication skills, being punctual, and being responsible.
