Experience: Most of my experience with children comes from working as a nanny for private families. I have also taught English in different elementary schools in Latin America. Altogether I've been working with children for 13+ years, it's my passion!

Experience with the following age groups: I focus most of my work with infants and toddlers, although I have worked with kids as old as 17 years of age.

Interests and hobbies:I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring. I am health conscious and caring for myself, others, and our planet is very important to me. I consider myself open-minded and love learning new things. I spend a lot of my free time sewing, dancing, and playing with my dog.

Describe your childcare style:I believe in communicating with children starting right at birth, guiding them through all of their experiences. I learned to talk to children using techniques similar to the Montessori approach and find that it creates a peaceful and nurturing environment. My philosophy on discipline at a young age is truly leading by example, showing and expecting mutual respect, and giving more appropriate options to a child when they show a behavior that is inappropriate. Raising confident, creative children that lead from their hearts is my ultimate goal.

What activities do you like to do with children:When working with kids I like to bring in a variety of activities to enrich their life experience. This includes different types of age-appropriate music, dance, outdoor exploration, meditation/yoga, arts and crafts and reading. I like to have daily rhythms (schedules) that keep children engaged and feeling secure.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I have always had a passion for working with children. I love getting to make a positive impact on their lives and find it rewarding to watch them shine and grow.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?I think a great nanny is trustworthy, dependable, attentive and nurturing. A great nanny has a calming nature, and offers comfort and guidance. It's also important to know how to be playful and silly and keep a positive attitude.
