Experience: I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, where I grew up in a family of six children. I started working with children at a Montessori daycare during the summers of my college years. Over the years I have been a nanny for several families. For one of the families, I was a live-in nanny and had a school in the home to work with the children on a daily basis. Weekly outings included museums, library, parks, zoo, etc. I enjoy being around the youth because their energy keeps me young! I am willing to help with light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and meal prep, keeping the kitchen clean, errands and anything else that may come up! I like a clearly defined job, so communication is essential!

Interests and hobbies:I'm an artist. Love watching movies, reading, etc. I especially enjoy playing and taking care of my puppy Levi!

Describe your childcare style:I am a loving, nurturing person who adores kids! I am comfortable will Infants through School Age and believe patience, redirection and humor go a long way with kids! I follow the parents directions including nutrition, learning and parenting style. I am a quick study and will ask if I have any questions!

What activities do you like to do with children:I love having a routine throughout the day, yet being flexible when changes occur. I love to interact with children on a one to one basis and not just sitting on the sidelines. Creativity, arts and crafts, walks, building with legos, blocks, etc. Love to do art projects, reading with children, playing games and going out on outings to museums, parks, etc. Age appropriate activities are important!

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I've have 2 passions in my life: Children and Art! Working with children brings me joy everyday and it is something I feel I am a natural at!

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?I think having excellent communication skills with both the children and parent, being extremely responsible, patient, honest, trustworthy, loyal and adaptable are all very important!
