Experience: Currently I am finishing my second year of teaching Special Education in a school serving students in grades K-5. I spent a year as a teaching aid in a preschool and I have been employed as a paraprofessional at a middle school. I have had several babysitting positions, as well as a full-time nanny/household manager position in 2015. I am happy to assist with household duties, grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry errands and whatever will make your lives easier! I am also very comfortable with horses and have had experience assisting in equine therapy with children.

Describe your childcare style:I am gentle and caring to children. I tend to let them "take the lead" in conversation and play, as to increase their self esteem and sense of control. I am a believer in consistent routine while encouraging exploration and creativity.

What activities do you like to do with children:I enjoy spending time outdoors with children. I love exploring, playing games, and participating in a child's imaginative play. I love reading books and listening to music with children, as I believe these are important to the growth and development of a young mind.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I love children! I love developing long term relationships with children and families and enjoy watching the children grow!

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?Some of the most important qualities in a nanny/babysitter are compassion, honesty, and respect towards the children they care for and the families they work for.
