Experience: I have a range of experience with kids of different ages and backgrounds! My first long-term nannying job lasted for four years, I grew very close to the children and the family. I started nannying after school when I was 15 and have done it ever since. I've worked as a live-in nanny in the summertime and a full-time nanny in New York City.I have tutored children in after school programs ans speak Spanish fluently. I love kids and fostering relationships with them over time. I'm very adaptable! I'm good at handling stressful situations and I'm great with kids in tough situations like meltdowns. I'm also incredibly thoughtful and good at connecting with children. I love to cook and bake and am happy to do household duties such as laundry, errands, grocery shopping, anything needed!

Experience with the following age groups: I have experience with toddlers, preschool, elementary, middle and high school kids.

Interests and hobbies:I grew up in Boulder so I love the outdoors! I love to ski and hike and I practice yoga. I love to cook and try out new recipes. I'm passionate about politics, music, and photography as well. elementary, middle and high school kids.

Describe your childcare style:My childcare philosophy is to be a friend that can tell them when to go to bed and eat their broccoli. I find that when I establish a relationship based on love and comradry not only does it help the child to feel safe and cared for, but I am able to discipline a child in a healthier way. I love playing and being goofy with kids! Because of my age, I'm active and love to have fun. I find that establishing playful relationships with children helps them listen and respect me.

What activities do you like to do with children:I love playing outside with kids, making costumes arts and crafts, cook/bake, walk to parks, go swimming, and read! It's important to find out each child's likes and interests and help them to develop and grow.

Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? After working with a family for years, I developed a really close bond with their four children. Having a genuine connections with a child, where you're able to giggle and play and reading them a bedtime story, is one of the most gratifying feelings! I've always loved being around kids and taking care of them. I'm very domestic and a natural caregiver.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?I think the most important thing is a balance between child and adult! The best nannies know when to get their hands dirty, be silly, and run around outside. It is also crucial to be responsible, nurturing, loving, and safety conscious. It is incredibly important for nannies to be patient and calm even in stressful circumstances. I'm very loving, and I think at the end of the day, that makes a big impact on children. Lastly, it is imperative that a nanny is communicative and punctual at all times.

Additional comments:I look forward to meeting your family!
