Experience: I’ve had the pleasure of working as a nanny and house manager for several incredible families. I have 8 years childcare experience with both live-in and live-out positions and care for up to 4 kids at once. I have worked with kids as young as 12 months to 14 years old and also have experience working with children with special needs. Each family and kids have different wants and needs so I’ve gained a range of experience. You need it done, I can do it! From morning routines before school including wake-ups, getting them ready, making breakfast, packing lunches and dropping them at school. I am there to help with all homework and projects as well as organize their calendars with playdates, school functions, sports, and appointments. I believe strongly in less time in front of screens and more time playing outside, imagination games, sensory games, crafts and taking the kids to fun age appropriate events like the zoo, museums and parks. I also can take kids to all appointments including doctor, dentist, therapy, tutoring and any other needs. I can help with the evening routine including driving them to and from activities, as well as bath and bedtime routine. I also have experience in teaching American Sign Language and make it a fun activity for all kids I work with. If families are willing, I would love to have a budget to purchase different things such as park and museum passes, craft supplies, and baking supplies - I always try to have a fun, engaging activity planned! As a house manager, I can help with laundry, grocery shopping, meal prepping, various errands, cleaning the house, helping with pets, and keeping an organized family calendar. I also have experience in coordinating and communicating with other employees like landscaping, contractors, and housekeepers.

Experience with the following age groups: 12-months old through high school aged kids.

Interests and hobbies:Interior design, house flipping, DIY’s, cooking, baking, antiquing/thrifting, reading, ceramics (very new), plant shopping, long walks with my puppy Haze, swimming and hanging by the river I live by, watching sports. I really love anytime I can be by the water and hanging with friends and family. I love traveling and experiencing new things. Trying new restaurants, going to live Jazz clubs. I am an involved activist for several nonprofits that fight to bring awareness and recourses to stopping child and adult sex trafficking. I am very much a YES person. I love experiencing new things and as a new resident in the amazing state of Colorado I can’t wait to take advantage of all the outdoor activities like hiking, camping, snowboarding, fishing, rafting and more!

Describe your childcare style: My childcare style focuses on stimulating young minds while always making sure they feel safe and secure. It is my job to provide kids with an active, hands on, and safe environment for them to grow, learn and be kids! I know that each child and family are unique so it is a priority for me to curate activities that benefit them individually. My childcare style is one of lots of creativity, self-expression and fun! I think it’s important for children to build their own thoughts, opinions, interests, and emotions with someone there to give them a hand and to ask questions if they need it. I want kids to be kids all while learning from the world and people around them.

What activities do you like to do with children:Infants: playing with toys, teaching them sign language, tummy time, growth development activities such as color, number, and word flash cards, talking with them, sensory small groups, taking them on walks in their stroller, playing at the park, singing songs and dancing, and reading books. As well as helping reach their monthly milestones, clothing and diapering, bottle feeding (breastmilk, formula and transitioning to whole milk), transitioning to solids and baby led weaning (finger foods), help with baby-proofing home, sleep training and assisting with potty training. Toddlers: playing outside at the park, coloring with chalk, imagination games, homemade sensory arts & crafts that turn into educational lessons and games, teaching them sign language, educational flashcards, reading books, taking them on outings (ex: Zoo, library, children’s museum, parks,) School aged kids: playing outside on bikes, playing a sport, age appropriate sensory games, teaching them sign language crafts, board games, swimming, taking them on outings (ex: Zoo, library, bowling, trampoline parks, museums, cooking classes) and activities based on individual kid’s interest
