Why are you interested in working as a Nanny or Babysitter? I’ve always been drawn to jobs and professions involving children. I am very nurturing, reliable and I truly have a passion for children and their growth and development. As an ex-teacher, my belief is that a child’s emotional development is just as important as their academic development. I taught and nannied every student I ever had as if they were my own children.

What qualities are important in a Nanny or Babysitter?First and foremost a nanny and the family need to work together and get along seamlessly-it takes a village. A nanny needs to be supportive of not only the children but of the parents as well. A nanny needs to be nurturing, interactive, present, kind and should be a safe person for children so that they can feel comfortable to grow and explore and mature. Boundaries and firmness are important while maintaining flexibility and fun.

Additional comments:I can’t wait to meet you and to do my part in becoming someone who will support you and your children!
